Manufactured by Capitol Records, Inc. a subsidiary of Capitol Industries-EMI, Inc. Printed in U.S.A.1987 release, part of Capitol’s series of issuing their earlier UK album catalog for the first time in the US (outside the Mo-Fi limited editions), matching their CD counterparts (and using the same catalog numbers). Digital masters were used in these pressings.

#1 -Original run, catalog # of CLJ-46437 (seen on spine, upper left front cover,lower left back cover and labels) -Capitol Rainbow/colorband label design with the Parlophone logo on the left side of label above the “1” and “2”. -Capitol oval and EMI rectangle logos along the bottom back -UPC on the back is square in shape
Pressed at Allied Record Co as identified by what looks like a large Q (but is really a lower case a with a tail) stamp in the run out.
Most pressings came with a 2” round red sticker stating “DIGITALLY REMASTERED FROM THE ORIGINAL BRITISH CATALOG” with the album title, cat # and Printed in U.S.A. (see photo)
Disc comes in a clear rice-paper sleeve.
For variation #2 : The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night For variation #3 : The Beatles - A Hard Day's NightLate 70s/early 80s pressing from Israel of the UK version has no EMI or Parlophone markings, but uses the UK catalog #.
